Multistage Roots Pumps

Two or more intermeshing rotors are used in multistage Roots vacuum pumps, a form of positive displacement pump, to compress gas. The low ultimate pressure, high pumping speed, and clean pumping environment of these devices make them popular choices for analytical instrument applications. Without the requirement for oil, they can produce high vacuum levels at the lowest noise levels, which results in inexpensive maintenance and great reliability.

Presenting Edwards’ nXLi and nXRi pumps, intended for use in premium mass spectrometry applications. Improved performance and dependability are provided by the nXLi pumps, while space-saving integration into analytical equipment and vacuum systems is made possible by the compact design of the nXRi pumps.

nXRi Dry Multi Stage Roots

With pumping rates ranging from 30 to 120 m3h-1, the nXRi offers unparalleled pumping speeds in the smallest possible package. Real performance gains and cost savings are produced by the nXRi’s decreased input power and minimal maintenance requirements in a variety of applications.

OEMs of analytical instruments profit from the simplicity of integration into the majority of vacuum systems, providing a ready-to-use vacuum solution ideal for electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, and leak detection. Customers in the R&D and industrial sectors will value the oil-free, low maintenance, and flexible design features.
